Projects

Things I’ve built, broken, and tinkered with when nobody was paying me to do it. From over-engineered solutions to broken bits of stuff, these are the passion projects and side-quests that keep me awake past a reasonable bedtime.

• Digital Masonry: Donnington Castle, near Newbury, UK in Quake - What happens when you try Reconstructing a 14th-century Berkshire castle ruins using a 1996 game engine. A technical huddle on object limits, custom textures, and why Grandad still hasn't fixed the "broken castle".

• Secret Squirrel - There is a classified, highly non-standard directory hidden deep within the network architecture covered in discarded nutshells. Rumor has it that this sector is heavily restricted and requires a very specific clearance level to view. I'm not technically supposed to link to it, but if you want to see if your access permissions hold up, you can attempt to breach the perimeter.
