Incredibly fast and significantly expands the engine's limits for modern 
hardware. It handles the high geometry count of this build perfectly.

QUAKESPASM / QUAKESPASM-SPIKED
The community gold standard for "faithful" gameplay. It retains original physics 
and aesthetics while removing 90s crash limits.

DARKPLACES
The graphical powerhouse. If you want Donnington to feature real-time lighting, 
complex particles, and emphasized torchlight/fog effects, use this port.

VKQUAKE
A modern port utilizing the Vulkan API. Provides a ultra-smooth, high-performance 
experience on modern GPUs while keeping the vanilla aesthetic intact.

PREREQUISITES: Required texture and asset packages can be found on my website.

1. Extract the contents of the download ZIP file.

2. Place 'DonnyF5.bsp' directly into your Quake 'id1/maps/' directory.

3. If not already present, ensure 'wally.wad' is placed in your main 'id1/' folder.

4. For the custom skybox: Extract the sky texture files and drop them directly 
   into your '\id1\gfx\env\' folder.

5. (DarkPlaces Only): To enable the environmental rain effect, place the 
   included '.ent' file directly into the same 'id1/maps/' directory.

6. Launch your chosen source port client.

7. Open the game console (~) and type: map donnyf5
